Welcome to Norm Skin. Please take some time to read the following terms and conditions applicable to using this site and purchasing product(s) through this site.

The following terms and conditions, our Privacy Policy and any relevant terms stipulated in product descriptions or cart/checkout pages on this site (“Terms”) govern your use of, and purchases through, Norm Skin. By using www.norm.skin, browsing this site, signing up as a member or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as amended from time to time. 

For the purposes of the Terms, “us”, “our” and “we” refers to Norm Skin, “you”, “your” and “customer” refers to you, the client, visitor or user of this site and “this site” refers to www.norm.skin.

 

REVIEW OF TERMS

The Terms are subject to change from time to time without notice. 

Your continued use of this site following any changes or modifications constitutes your acceptance of such changes or modifications. Accordingly, please check the Terms regularly prior to your use of our site or purchase from our site to ensure that you are aware of any changes.

Occasionally, there may be information on this site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers and availability. Norm Skin reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on this site is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

 

SHIPPING

Norm Skin currently only ships within Australia. 

Should Norm Skin, on the exceptional circumstance, ship internationally, Norm Skin is not responsible for any customs charges, taxes or restrictions that vary from country to country and result from the importation of certain products. The customer remains responsible for all charges or fees incurred.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any representations made by Norm Skin as to delivery times are limited to Australia and are intended to be an estimate only. Any such representations are subject to delays resulting from postal delivery service delays, for which Norm Skin will not be responsible for. 

We will do our best to meet any delivery estimates, but we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by a customer or any other persons or company for failure to meet an estimated delivery date. 

 

RETURNS

In the rare case that a product provided by Norm Skin is considered to have a major defect, meaning that the customer would not have bought the product if they had known the problem before purchase, the customer has the right to Contact Us within 30 days of placing the order requesting an exchange or refund.

In the customer’s correspondence with us, please state the assumed major defect and provide photos where possible as we may request these to commence further investigation. 

If Norm Skin is unable to resolve the issue and the product is deemed to have a major defect, in Norm Skin’s sole discretion, we will offer the customer either an exchange or refund, less any shipping fees. Where a refund is issued, Norm Skin will only process a refund using the same method of payment for which the initial purchase was completed. 

If the initial purchase was made via a third party stockist, all returns must be directed to that third party and is subject to their returns policies or terms and conditions.

 

PRODUCTS & ORDERS

The products made available on this site, are for personal use only. You may not sell or resell any product(s) you purchase or otherwise receive from Norm Skin.

All orders placed are an offer of purchase and are subject to acceptance by Norm Skin. Norm Skin reserves the right to refuse an offer for any reason. If an order is not accepted, a full refund will occur at our earliest convenience.

Given the nature of our product drops, Norm Skin may limit the number of products available for purchase by any one customer.

 

PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices listed on this site are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (as applicable).

The prices indicated may be changed at any time without notice.

Where the customer pays for an order by a card payment, the customer warrants that they are fully authorised to use, and make payment with, the card. 

Norm Skin is under no obligation to ship any goods ordered until payment for the product(s) has been received.

All online card transactions on the our site occur through secure external payment gateways, via Shopify. Norm Skin does not collect or store payment information and we cannot view or retrieve complete card details.

 

USE OF PRODUCTS

You agree to use our product(s) only for their intended purpose and strictly in accordance with their instructions, precautions and guidelines. Any other use will cause the customer to assume full responsibility for any loss or damage.

You should always check the ingredients of our products to avoid potential allergic reactions.

Norm Skin products are intended for use by adults only. If any minor uses any product(s) purchased through this site, it should be only after the parent or legal guardian has provided permission and, where applicable, discussed the product(s) with the minor's health care professional. 

 

PROMO CODES

Norm Skin may use promotional codes (“Promo Code(s)”) from time to time. To redeem Promo Codes, the Promo Code must be applied at the cart or checkout stage of your order. Promo Codes cannot be added to completed orders and no refund or bonus product(s) will be offered if a Promo Code was not applied correctly. 

Promo Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount (or stacked with another Promo Code(s)) or used for the purchase of gift cards. 

Norm Skin reserves the right to amend or withdraw any Promo Code at any time.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site, including without limitation, trademarks, look, text, icons, pictures and graphics are the property of Norm Skin and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. 

No part or portion of this site may be copied, reproduced, sold or used in any manner for any purpose without the written consent of Norm Skin. In particular, you are not permitted to republish, upload, transmit electronically or otherwise or distribute any of the materials, information or products that may be available for download from time to time on this site. 

Nothing in the Terms constitutes a transfer any intellectual property rights. Norm Skin expressly reserves all copyright and trademark in all documents, information and materials on this site and we reserve the right to take action against you if you breach the Terms. 

 

ADVICE AND INFORMATION

The advice and information contained within or provided through this site is of a general nature and is not intended to constitute or replace professional or medical advice. 

This site is solely an online store for beauty and body products. If you have any concerns about the use of any of our products relevant your own unique personal circumstances, please consult with your own health care professional. 

While we have tried to accurately display the true colours of our products, the actual colours you see will depend on your device, ambient lighting and other factors beyond Norm Skin’s reasonable control, and may not accurately reflect the colour of the product(s).

PRODUCT - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the full extent permitted by law, Norm Skin makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding any matter including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or use in relation to any product supplied by Norm Skin.

Where legislation implies into the Terms any condition or warranty that cannot be restricted or modified, Norm Skin’s liability for any breach of such conditions or warranties or a term of the Terms will, to the full extent permitted by law, be limited to: (a) the supplying of the product(s) to you again; (b) the replacement of the goods; or (c) the payment of the post of having the product(s) supplied to you again. 

SITE - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

You agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Norm Skin will not be responsible or liable (whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise), under any circumstances, for any (a) interruption of business; (b) access delays or access interruptions to this site; (c) data non-delivery, misdelivery, corruption, destruction or other modifications; (d) computer viruses, system failures or malfunctions which may occur in connection with your use of this site, including during hyperlink to or from third party websites; (e) any inaccuracies or omissions in content, or (f) events beyond our reasonable control.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Norm Skin (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers) harmless, from all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, obligations and damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of: (a) your use of and access to this site; (b) your violation of any term of the Terms; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including, without limitation, any copyright, property or privacy right); or (d) any claim that any content you submitted caused damage to a third party. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of the Terms and your misuse of this site.

INTERFERENCE WITH THE SITE

You must not attempt to change, add to, remove, deface, hack or otherwise interfere with this site or any material or content displayed on this site.

 

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Norm Skin, including this site, is created and controlled in Victoria, Australia. 

Accordingly, the Terms and this site are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, and where applicable the state of Victoria. By using this site or purchasing product(s) through this site, you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

 

GENERAL

If any provision of the Terms is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Terms, which will remain in full force and effect. 

No waiver of any term of the Terms will be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and Norm Skin’s failure to assert any right or provision under the Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
